Brian Free is undeniably the most recognizable southern gospel tenor of our generation.

Since 1982, he has been at the forefront of southern gospel music since first joining Gold City Quartet, then moving on to form his own group.

Brian Free and Assurance have recently won awards at the First Annual US Gospel News SGM Fanfair. They were, Favorite Quartet, Favorite Tenor (Brian Free) and Favorite Video – Live In New York City.

Country Comes to Town: A Grand Ole Opry Experience

This Tribute Concert features the music of country legends from Nashville’s famed Grand Ole Opry, mixed with artists originals, performing legendary traditional and contemporary music to everything in between. The show features Local Artists: DOC WINN, FRED TROUT, JASON EARL and DALLAS MARTIN, all who are fan favorites to the West Ga. music scene. The band is comprised of award winning musicians, including members of the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame.

This show , hosted by Radio Legend: MARK MCCAIN, promises to be an amazing evening of music to be enjoyed by ALL. A taste of Nashville in our own backyard. It is a family friendly event, so please bring young and old to enjoy COUNTRY COMES TO TOWN: A Grand Ole Opry Experience.

That Puppet Guy, Lee Bryan

Emmy-nominated, Atlanta-based puppeteer and nationally recognized touring artist, Lee Bryan, is back! Lee combines his live vocal characterizations and original songs with innovative puppets that delight all ages! Lee will be here for one day with 2 different shows.   • Aesop’s Fantastic Fables – 11 AM: And they’re off! It’s another exciting day at the races as the TORTOISE AND THE HARE weaves its way through the tales of the LION AND THE MOUSE and the BOY WHO CRIED WOLF!Get ready…get set…for some home-spun family fun with this clever solo “tour-de-farce” created especially for rod puppets and hand puppets.

  • Pinnochio – 2 PM: Recycled thrift store items are given new life in this fantastic, frenetic retelling based on the Collodi classic text.Found-object puppet characters are constructed from various recycled things like kitchen utensils, baskets and tennis rackets.In addition to the found-object puppets, this original one-man “tour de farce” combines authentic Italian music, Commedia-style mask work, and plenty of audience participation!Produced with a grant from the Jim Henson Foundation, Inc.
