This three-hour workshop will focus on strong audition techniques to help you give the best audition they can! All acting levels are welcome, even if you’ve never auditioned or taken a class before! We will be covering auditioning with a one-minute monologue as well as cold readings from a script. Have an audition piece you’ve been working on? Bring it in! Don’t know where to start in choosing a piece? We will email students resources prior to class as well as provide monologues and scenes to read!
If you’re interested in musical theater auditioning, you will be able to work with one of our musical theater teachers to even further hone your skills and help you perfect an audition song of your choice!
You will explore techniques for developing compelling, authentic characters and learn to calm the nerves that go with auditioning. This workshop will also cover what happens before and after your audition monologue, preparing you from the moment you step into the audition room!

Please note that while taking this workshop will be excellent at preparing you for an audition, it does not guarantee casting in a Dallas Theater production.

All workshops are non-refundable unless canceled by the Dallas Theater.

We are taking the safety and health of our students and teachers very seriously. Here’s what we are doing to keep us all safe:

We don't just offer workshops but also 4 different classes for kids, teens and adults!
